Uh oh. My big sister called me tonight. Apparently, she read the bloggy and felt like I needed to dump. "I just read your blog, it sounds like you need to blow some steam... so blow."
Gee. Have I been that whiney and negative lately? My bad. Really though, Mom's in a better place, which puts me in a better place, which should, in turn put my bloggy in a better place. SO, I've compile a list worthy of the joy, peace and love I'm feeling at the moment... A post praising all things ridiculously lovable:
My new windows! Today's temps were in the 70's and guess who had her windows open... ME! Not something I could do with my old, rotten, painted shut, suck ass, decrepid windows of the past. $4000 of pure JOY.
Two layers in the henhouse. Both of the Rhode Island Reds we adopted (Myrtle and Daffodil) are pumpin' out the tasty brown eggies. LOVE them.
Okay, seriously. After 22 years of 'togetherness' with Big Dave, this sight still sets me a-flutter. So true. And the fact that he can remove the drive shaft thingy from his truck, install new U-joint whatcha-ma-jiggies on it and replace it, saving us nearly $400 in labor costs from Pep Boys pretty much give me a hard-on. Just sayin'.
Man, I ADORE my BAMA Buggy. Oh, and hello, can you say NATIONAL CHAMPIONS... again!!! ROLL TIDE!!!
And, I am totally stoked that Lizzy's caught softball fever already. Big Dave rigged up a crazy tacky, but excessively functional 'backstop' for her to practice her pitching. I could watch her all day long.
And speaking of Lizzy...

Yes indeed, I am definitely feelin' the love.
~Love our kitten...especially when she attacks the dogs. SO funny!
~Love that I'm getting the Penthouse back in order and ready for some serious scrapping.
~Love that I'm in week 8'ish of strength training, and I can TOTALLY tell a difference.
~Love that I married a man who puts my wants and desires before his own. He should, but dammit I'm happy he does. :)
~Love that those extra pounds I gained over the holidays are gettin' the hell out of Dodge.
~Love my Mom.
~Love clean sheets, rugs and blankies. Wiff wiff... ah, Downy Unstoppables ROCK.
~Love that next weekend will see me in Charleston, SC. running my third half marathon with my cyber bud Amanda. I can't wait!!
