People often ask if I scrap alot at home, and the answer is heck yes! I turned my extra bedroom into my scraproom. I love that I can get up, and shut the door on any mess that might be goin' on in there. I love it in there!
In the spirit of Christmas... (with bruise update)
...yesterday I decided to re-enact the scene from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation where Clark sprays his sled with super slippery stuff and goes speeding down the hill at a gozillion miles an hour. (Here's a snippet if you need a refresher.)
Of course I didn't have a snowy hill to sled down, so I decided to fall down these instead...
And sure I'm fine and dandy, although suffering from a sore rump, back, shoulder and thumb, but I'm tellin' you that was NO fun. I don't think I've actually had an accident like that in my whole adult life... crazy. But alas, I felt the need to share it so y'all could laugh while visualizing me in my jammies and slippers, holding onto a bag of Christmas bows, flying down the stairs on my arse... seven stairs to be exact. I wish I had a big purple bruise to show off...kinda like this one...
...but I don't so I had to steal this one off the internet... by the way, be careful if you google the words 'purple bruise' because you're gonna find a dude's blog that is WAY too grown up for our good taste...whoa nelly! However, I did get this lovely photo from it, so I must give him kudos for that. Besides, if I had a big purple bruise on my hiney I don't think it would be right and proper to post a photo of it on here, right? So, I'll just make do with a big purple bruise on someone else's hiney instead.
****UPDATE***** AFTER A CAREFUL INSPECTION BY BIG DAVE, IT TURNS OUT THAT I DO HAVE A PRETTY NASTY LOOKIN' BRUISE... RIGHT ON MY CRACK! NEEDLESS TO SAY, THERE WILL NOT BE A PHOTO SHOOT FOR THIS. ;)
The end result (no pun intended) of this crazy accident was very well worth the trauma because I was bringing down the red bows to put on my windows. Now my dream house looks like my very own gingerbread house...well, minus the gumdrops, icing, gingerbread... okay, it's still cute, you know what I mean. See...
Sigh...I think I'm in love. ;)

You could sled down my back yard as Michaela often does. Its an adventure for all of us. Jane fell down her steps not long ago and she did have a real bruise. Glad you weren't injured and I do love your house.
I dug through my pictures last night and boy do I have a picture to show you. I took the quick way down 10 stairs about 5 years ago. Nasty, nasty bruise!!!
I knew those stairs were an accident waiting to happen! Hope your tailbone's ok. I'm really realived we didn't get any crack photos - you might get raided or something!

I meant relieved (no, I'm not drinking yet). And your house really does look purty.
